Adventure awaits around every bend. Sample fine wine, cider and mead and experience a diverse blend of relaxing tasting rooms and mountain air...all infinitely cooler than the lowlands. The Mountain Road Wine Experience hosts two special tasting tours per year. The first is the second weekend of June, followed by another the second weekend of September. Folks can also sample wines from each member of the trail at The Tasting Room in downtown Floyd.

Altavista Vineyards will be opening The Overlook for wine tastings and sales in May of 2011. This location will be open weekends from May to November. We hope to see you there!
